World Breast Cancer Awareness Programme Held at Namakkal Medical College and Hospital on 26th October 2023 DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SURGERY recently organized a comprehensive breast cancer awareness programme to mark the global initiative of promoting early detection and prevention of this disease. The event, conducted by 2nd-year medical students, involved an awareness rally around the hospital premises. Professors emphasized the importance of mammogram technique and organized a poster making and slogan writing competition to further educate and engage participants.
