FORENSIC MEDICINE SKIT - SIVAPPU ROJAKAL.

A skit based on the role of forensic medicine in a Medico-legal case was enacted by the students of 2nd year on March 30,2023 .

The skit highlighted the important strategies by which a Medico-legal case is solved. The skit stole the show as it was held like a real-life court scene .The students who acted in the skit were extremely passionate about performing and bringing in the right emotions especially students Roshini, Sathya Suriyan ,Thahseen,Santhosh. They nailed the skit. The plot was built brilliantly as real life situation and directed by Mohith kumar , our 2nd year student.

The enactment was about identifying the accused among two suspects of murder. The wife of the deceased was falsely accused. With the timely use of FORENSIC MEDICINE, the justice was served. The accused surrendered only after Forensic Medicine test proved it.

The key points to prove the accused by application of forensic medicine are ,

•Time of death calculated using body temperature was around 9:30pm which was the time sathiya left Arun's home.

•DNA smaple obtained from victim's body (from the nails - skin cells of the suspect) was a perfect match with that of the suspect's (sathiya) DNA.

•Angle of stab injury in victim's body is around 145° so only a person with a height of 175 cm can make a stab of that angle which makes the suspicion ture as sathiya as height is 174 cm.

With all these evidences we can prove  that sathiya was the killer...
