NEXUS '23 - INTERCOLLEGE PHYSIOLOGY QUIZ
TEAMS
Two teams of 6 students had the privilege of participating in a general, nerve, muscle physiology quiz on 28th April 2023 .The event was hosted at Tiruvallur medical college and they were accompanied by 2 professors from the department of physiology. They had received a comprehensive training from the department to prepare for the quiz .
They arrived at the medical college one day prior to the event .On the day of quiz it was thrilling to see so many students from different colleges participating eagerly in the event .A total of 90 teams participated in the prelims round, which was held form 10.30 to 11.30am
Following the prelims they attended a CME and waited anxiously for the results to be announced at 2.00 pm . To their surprise an delight they had been selected for the stage round !!! . Only six teams were chosen for this round and they were thrilled of be one among them .The stage round consisted of different rounds which tested their knowledge and skills in General, Nerve, muscle physiology . They were excited to be a part of the competition and gave their maximum effort .
In the end Team 1 secured 5 th place in the quiz which was the great achievement for them .
Overall the experience was fantastic .They are greatful to their college for giving them this opportunity to participate in the event . The quiz not only tested their knowledge but also helped them improve their skills and gave them a chance to meet and interact with students from other colleges .It was a wonderful learning experience and they will cherish those memories for years to come.
