  On occasion of Celebrating WORLD SICKLE CELL DAY The Department of Pediatrics of Government Namakkal Medical college conducted QUIZ and CME on June 22 about Sickle cell Anemia The Chief guests of the event were our beloved dean Dr.Santha Arulmozhi ,Medical Superintendent Dr.Gunasekaran ,Our vice principal Dr.Kumudha and HODs of Various departments of the college QUIZ There were 10 teams .5 teams from pre final year and 5 teams from 2nd year of the college participated.Each team had 2 participants The quiz was conducted on a very organised manner.  ROUND 1  The first round was Multiple choice round &True or False .Each team was given a paper and pen to fill up their answers.NO negative marks were alloted. ROUND 2 It was a rapid fire round .The team which buzzes first got the chance to answer.Unanswered questions was shooted to audience.   On occasion of celebrating and honouring the Blood Donor's Day on june 14 , a blood donation camp was conducted in Government Namakkal Medical College on June 14 2024. The event started off with lighting lamp by our dean , Dr.Santha Arulmozhi & other dignitaries and as the say goes 'As light glows darkness fades' , the event had a great start.
