BLOOD DONATION CAMP

On occasion of celebrating and honouring the Blood Donor's Day on june 14 , a blood donation camp was conducted in Government Namakkal Medical College on June 14 2024.

The event started off with lighting lamp by our dean , Dr.Santha Arulmozhi & other dignitaries and as the say goes 'As light glows darkness fades' , the event had a great start.





A pledge to increase awareness about blood donation , without discrimination and on own interest.

இரத்தத்தின் தேவையைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு தன்னார்வ இரத்த தானம் செய்வதன் அவசியம் குறித்து எனது குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள். நண்பர்கள். உறவினர்கள். ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்களிடம் விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவேன். ஒருவருக்கு இரத்தம் தேவைப்படும் போது இனம். மதம் பாகுபாடின்றி இரத்த தானம் செய்வேன். எந்த உயிர் இழப்பும் ஏற்படாதிருக்க தன்னார்வமாக இரத்த தானம் செய்வேன்  என்று உறுதி அளிக்கிறேன்.


The students showcased their creative knowledge by presenting their posters to our dean & explaining the importance and essence of blood donation and focusing on the goal of the camp & they were given prizes for their participation .













Just like President , the first man of our country , our Respected Dean , the first person of our college set up a wonderful role model for us , starting off by donating her blood . And soon the students and volunteers for blood donation of 50 members ,followed her footsteps and donated their blood a moment they would remember in the journey of life ,by helping save lives.








Certificates were given to the blood donors in appreciation for their roles in saving lives and donating their blood.



A single gesture of blood donation can help save millions of smiles. An opportunity was given to help someone in need , thank you and congratulations for the success of the event to Dr.Anbumalar DCP and the organising committee of student council president Sakthi bala .B.P. , Blood Bank Secretary Shyaahm.R.B , Harini.S depty blood bank secretary and Kanishma.S.S assistant blood bank secretary and all volunteers.

Organ donation day

  On behalf of Indian organ donation day celebration , various activities like poster presentations, slogans, rangoli ,short film and skits were performed to bring about awareness about organ donation on 27th july. A rally on awareness about organ donation and its impact on saving lives , was conducted .Notice distribution was conducted regarding this rally on july 28 to the general public. Pongal, a vibrant four-day harvest festival, honors the sun god, Surya, and the bounty of the land. Celebrated predominantly in Tamil Nadu, Pongal marks the beginning of the sun's journey towards the northern hemisphere, ushering in longer days and a new cycle of growth. The occasion of pongal was celebrated in our college on 22nd of January,2024 Esteemed chief Guests are our beloved College Dean Mam, Dr. Santha Arulmozhi, VP mam Dr. Kumudha and various faculties from various departments.
