"RAGGING DOESN'T BREAK THE ICE 

  IT BREAKS THE LIVES,CAREERS,FAMILIES"

Ragging is considered as popular cult practice in colleges, hostels and other educational institutions, hailing the most socially accepted deliberate sadism.

But ragging is actually a form of abuse and harassment that can cause serious harm to students

Ragging can cause feelings of fear, anxiety, depression, and isolation. It can also damage a student's self-esteem and sense of security.

Ragging is a punishable offense by law. 

To stop this sadistic meaningless activity anti-ragging committees were established in every educational institutions to prevent the students from any form of ragging and to provide a peaceful learning environment.

To promote a healthy environment and ragging free campus anti ragging week is observed and celebrated every year during the month of August.This year the anti-ragging week was celebrated from 12th August to 18th August.

Various impactful activities were conducted in our college involving all the students to bring awareness among them about the ill effects of ragging and help them to build a healthy relationship between their seniors and juniors

வன்பகடி செய்தல் (Ragging) ஒரு  துன்புறுத்தும் செயல் இதனால் சகமாணவர்கள் மனதளவில் பெரும் பாதிப்புக்கு உள்ளாகின்றனர். இதனை மாணவர்களுக்கு உணர்த்தும் வகையில் பல்வேறு நிகழ்ச்சிகள் மற்றும் போட்டிகள் ஆகஸ்ட் 12 ஆம் தேதி முதல் 18 ஆம் தேதி வரை எங்கள் கல்லூரியில் நடத்தப்பட்டன.

வன்பகடி செய்வதை தவிர்த்து மாணவர்கள் இடையே நல்லிணக்கத்தை கொண்டு வர எங்கள் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் தலைமையில்  மாணவர்கள் அனைவரும் சேர்ந்து மருத்துவமனையில் இருந்து கல்லூரி வளாகம் வரை பேரணியாக சென்று உறுதிமொழி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டனர்

Organ donation day

  On behalf of Indian organ donation day celebration , various activities like poster presentations, slogans, rangoli ,short film and skits were performed to bring about awareness about organ donation on 27th july. A rally on awareness about organ donation and its impact on saving lives , was conducted .Notice distribution was conducted regarding this rally on july 28 to the general public. Pongal, a vibrant four-day harvest festival, honors the sun god, Surya, and the bounty of the land. Celebrated predominantly in Tamil Nadu, Pongal marks the beginning of the sun's journey towards the northern hemisphere, ushering in longer days and a new cycle of growth. The occasion of pongal was celebrated in our college on 22nd of January,2024 Esteemed chief Guests are our beloved College Dean Mam, Dr. Santha Arulmozhi, VP mam Dr. Kumudha and various faculties from various departments.
