  ESPERANZA'24  The most awaited day, of course. The very first freshers day of GMC Namakkal combined with the celebration of Thithikum Diwali on 28 October,2024, invited all of our GMC Namakkal students, teaching and non-teaching staffs. What a cooling moment for the eyes seeing all of our committee in vibrant colours coming together for an enormous and marvelous get-together.   What a great relationship it is, between a senior and junior, not does it just stop with sharing experiences,sharing knowledge, giving advices, it is more of a sibling bond, and here, a professional bond too. Pongal, a vibrant four-day harvest festival, honors the sun god, Surya, and the bounty of the land. Celebrated predominantly in Tamil Nadu, Pongal marks the beginning of the sun's journey towards the northern hemisphere, ushering in longer days and a new cycle of growth. The occasion of pongal was celebrated in our college on 22nd of January,2024 Esteemed chief Guests are our beloved College Dean Mam, Dr. Santha Arulmozhi, VP mam Dr. Kumudha and various faculties from various departments. They made the day remarkable with their presence. Aromatic delicacy of pongal was prepared and shared by one and all fostering a sense of camaraderie and community.
