 ESPERANZA'24

The most awaited day, of course. The very first freshers day of GMC Namakkal combined with the celebration of Thithikum Diwali on 28 October,2024, invited all of our GMC Namakkal students, teaching and non-teaching staffs. What a cooling moment for the eyes seeing all of our committee in vibrant colours coming together for an enormous and marvelous get-together.

What a great relationship it is, between a senior and junior, not does it just stop with sharing experiences, sharing knowledge, giving advices, it is more of a sibling bond, and here, a professional bond too. How can we let our freshers not make theirselves home.

Starting the event by welcoming our freshers, establishing the hospitality of GMC Namakkal students and professors.

Various events for the freshers were thoughtfully brought by our students to engage our freshers actively and to build a good rapport between us and themselves. And yes, it worked!

Our batch'24 was very much indulged in all of the events. Majority enrollments made and them striving to beat the prize.... Woah! They are really champions!!

FRESHERS GAMES

All the freshers' games were conducted by Dhruvam'23.

*Adrenaline rush, is it?! The name says it all. A very apt start off for the day isn't it?

And the winners were Fathima Shameeha, Rasika and Nandita.

Conducted by Kavin Karthick and Dheekshitha, and Dr. Sangeetha of FM as the staff incharge.

Witty winner S. Harini took the first place.

Followed by the well wishing speech of our VP Dr. Kumutha and Dr. Sangeetha.

Then we had our MS Dr. Gunasekaran with a few words of positivity.

Vote of thanks was delivered wholeheartedly to the gathering by Aslesh of Dhruvam'23.

Concluding the first part of ESPERANZA'24 with the National Anthem before everyone went for their yummy feasts.

DIWALI

Diwali events were all sparkling and spectacular. One performance after another, each team trying their best to keep the audience off the seat.

All the batches, the freshers including were enthusiastically performing to showcase what they had.

We had numerous performances for the audience to sit back and relax. Relax? Oh sorry! Shouldn't mention but our audiences are all off-stage performers! :)

How can we call it Diwali without the sound and sparkles of crackers?

We had Dr. Hariraj of Biochemistry as the staff in charge to lighten up the lamp as a start and then our students to brighten up the night sky with crackers. Of course, safe and minimal were our choice.

Participants can be spectators. And spectators become participants too, at the end of the day.

How? Why? Cause the day end is the moooost fun part!!

Legs jump, hands sway, and the body moves it's own way...when it's DJ!!!

Who will say 'NO' to a perfect DJ wrap. Drenched in sweat, a wide smile, a hoarse voice and tired muscles is just the right way to end a marvelous event!

 And we...ended it right!!

A final vote of thanks to all the staffs, sponsors, organisers, council members, video and photographers, DJ, participants, incharges, spectators and many more at every nook and corner, who made the event possible and THE BEST in every way!

Regards,
