Pongal, a vibrant four-day harvest festival, honors the sun god, Surya, and the bounty of the land. Celebrated predominantly in Tamil Nadu, Pongal marks the beginning of the sun's journey towards the northern hemisphere, ushering in longer days and a new cycle of growth.

The occasion of pongal was celebrated in our college on 22nd of January,2024


Esteemed chief Guests are our beloved College Dean Mam, Dr. Santha Arulmozhi, VP mam Dr. Kumudha and various faculties from various departments. They made the day remarkable with their presence.





Aromatic delicacy of pongal was prepared and shared by one and all fostering a sense of camaraderie and community.



Various Games and cultural events has been conducted for Students as well as Faculties and it was enjoyed by everyone.

RANGOLI

Using vibrant colours and intricate designs our college students created stunning patterns and mesmerising art.

URIYADI

Uriyadi, a centuries-old traditional Indian sport, continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of skill, strategy, and excitement. Played with a clay pot and a stick, this rustic game has been a staple of rural Indian culture, fostering community bonding and physical activity

Both faculties and students participated with great enthusiasm.


TUG OF WAR

Tug of War, a timeless test of strength, teamwork, and determination, has been a beloved sport and recreational activity for centuries.

The pongal festivites drew to a close,leaving behind a trail of vibrant memories. The day was complete with an array of games, cultural events and merriment showcasing the rich tapestry of our heritage. As the celebrations came to a close, the sense of community and togetherness lingered. We bid adieu to this pongal’s festivities, eagerly looking forward to the next edition of this vibrant and beloved tradition.

Organ donation day

  On behalf of Indian organ donation day celebration , various activities like poster presentations, slogans, rangoli ,short film and skits were performed to bring about awareness about organ donation on 27th july. A rally on awareness about organ donation and its impact on saving lives , was conducted .Notice distribution was conducted regarding this rally on july 28 to the general public.
