The Institution day was a vibrant and memorable event that celebrated our college’s achievements, honored excellence, and showcased the talents of faculties, students, and staff. The event was a perfect blend of academic recognition, cultural performances, and heartfelt speeches, bringing the entire institution together in a spirit of joy and unity.

A Grand Opening:

The celebrations began with a general introduction about the institution and the significance of the day. This segment highlighted the journey of Government Namakkal Medical College, its contributions to the medical field, and its commitment to nurturing future healthcare professionals.

The event started with a devotional song by Haranie (2021 batch).   

Welcoming the Dignitaries and Lighting the lamp :

The distinguished guests, faculty members, and administrative heads were welcomed to the dais with great respect. As a traditional gesture of enlightenment and prosperity, the dignitaries performed the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom

Welcome address:

Dr . Arul sir  addressed the gathering and extended warm greetings to all attendees and emphasized the significance of the event in  academic growth.

Presidential address:

The Presidential Address was delivered by Dean Mam, who spoke about the institution’s achievements, future goals, and its role in shaping the next generation of doctors.

FM Gold Medal and Certificate Issuance:

A major highlight of the event was the FM Gold Medal and Certificate Distribution, where top-performing students were honored for their academic excellence.

Newest batch : 

One  of the most exciting moments was the 2024 Batch Name Reveal, officially welcoming the newest group of students into the medical community. This created a sense of pride and belonging among the freshers. "ழகரம் "- this beautiful name will represent our new batch -2024.

Cake cutting :

a cake-cutting ceremony was held, symbolizing the unity and togetherness of the institution.

Av about the institution:

The AV covered the three year journey of our college along with their achievements and success in medical field.

Vote of thanks:

Dr sumathi ( HOD pathology) delivered the vote of thanks thanking all who played a role in making the event a success.

Followed by the cultural segment which is an absolute treat.

Poetry recitation: 

Dr. Anandhi (GM Associate) presented a heartfelt poetry recitation, adding a literary touch to the event.

Instrumental Veenai Performance by Aparna (2024 batch) showcased her mastery over this classical instrument.

Dr. Karthika (Dermatology HOD) impressed the audience with her Veenai performance combined with singing, creating a soulful experience.

 enthralled the crowd with their singing talents.

A medley group song by faculty members Dr. Arul, Dr. Kumar, Dr. Sumathi, Dr. Karthika, Dr. Kalaiselvi, and Dr. Senthil Murugan added to the musical brilliance of the evening

Dr. Anandhi (GM Associate), Dr. Jayaswarya (Micro AP), and Dr. Tamilselvi (Psychiatry AP) presented a mesmerizing group dance performance.

Dr. Shankar (SPM AP), Dr. Kannan, Dr. Hariraj, and Dr. Prasannakumar showcased their talents in an enthusiastic group dance.

A fusion dance by Dr. Kalaiselvi & Dr. Sumathi captivated the audience with their unique blend of styles.

The event wasn’t just limited to doctors and students—ministerial staff, paramedical students, and Krystal workers actively participated, making it an inclusive celebration.
