Rally and Inauguration- An Eventful Tuesday

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the literature secretary of GNMCH, we present a blog on an eventful Tuesday.

The date:23.09.2025

Pharmacovigilance rally:

The day started off with a rally conducted by our Dean Dr K Santha Arulmozhi ma’am  and MS sir, Dr R Gunasekaran, accompanied by the respected Pharmacology HOD, DR Saravanan sir, who led the rally until the faculty block.

It was the week of Pharmacovigilance, where future doctors and nurses were taught the importance of medical drugs and their beneficial effects.

Freshers Inauguration:

The event was then followed by the arrival of the new juniors, which was a delightful sight. Another year, another batch, quadruple the fun.

Our respected Dean, Dr K Santha Arulmozhi ma’am, inaugurated the event, and gave an introductory speech about GNMCH and our respected Vice Principal gave a speech about the pride of being a doctor to our dear juniors. Our Respected Medical superintendent Dr R Gunasekaran, blessed us with his presence.

Of course, our college president, Mahillyaa Mohan, welcomed them with arms wide open and encouraged them to become better versions of themselves.

It was then concluded with a speech by the Anatomy HOD, Dr Divya ma’am, who addressed the rules of the college.

Where nature is nurtured:

Our college senior, Hariharan K, who is in final year,  has donated 100 saplings to be planted in our campus. This is meant to signify the beginning of a new batch in our college, where they must be nourished and nurtured to be better.

This noble gesture reflects the commitment of our institution not only to health but also to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The plantation drive was a reminder that just as a sapling grows with care and nourishment, so too will our students grow into strong, responsible doctors with the right guidance and education.

We were accompanied by the Dean, the VP and respected HODs of all the departments to make it auspicious.

I wish the new students of GNMCH a hearty congratulations and best of luck for future endeavours in our college.

Until next time.

Signing off,

Dhrishith Anandraj.
