The first Intra‑College Academic Event organized at Government Namakkal Medical College Hospital (GNMCH) marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of our institution. Tile Painting (24/11/25)
This event provided a unique artistic platform

The tile painting competition, conducted by the 2025 batch students, was based on the theme of body donation awareness. Through meaningful artwork and thoughtful use of colors, students highlighted the importance of body donation in medical education and research. The event successfully combined creativity with social responsibility, creating awareness while encouraging artistic expression and teamwork among participants
Poster Presentation (26/11/25)
The poster presentation event was conducted on the topic of emerging and re-emerging infections, providing students a platform to explore evolving infectious diseases and their impact on public health. Through informative posters and clear explanations, participants highlighted current trends, challenges, and preventive strategies, thereby enhancing awareness, research orientation, and scientific communication skills.
RANGOLI COMPETITION
The rangoli competition was conducted on the theme of leukemia, where students creatively depicted awareness about the disease through colors and designs. The event aimed to simplify complex medical concepts, promote empathy, and spread awareness while encouraging teamwork, creativity, and cultural expression.
Workshop Session
Title: Beyond the Stethoscope – AI in Medical Education
The workshop titled “Beyond the Stethoscope: AI in Medical Education” provided students with insights into the growing role of artificial intelligence in modern medical learning and practice. The session emphasized how technology is reshaping medical education beyond traditional methods, encouraging students to adapt, innovate, and stay future‑ready.

who provided valuable insights into the application of artificial intelligence in medical education, inspiring students to embrace technology-driven learning beyond traditional practices.
Quiz Competition:
The quiz competition was conducted in multiple engaging rounds, each designed to test students’ knowledge across diverse medical disciplines. The first round focused on Biochemistry, followed by Pharmacology in the second round and Forensic Medicine in the third. The final round covered Clinical subjects, making the event a comprehensive and intellectually stimulating experience that encouraged quick thinking, teamwork, and integrated learning.
Short Film :
The short film was based on the theme of crime scene recreation, where students creatively depicted investigative scenarios to highlight the importance of observation, evidence interpretation, and forensic principles, fostering analytical thinking and awareness through visual storytelling.
Based on consistent performance, active participation, and excellence across all academic and creative events, Team Rudram emerged as the Overall Winners of the First Intra-College Academic Event. Their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm were evident throughout the competitions. All participating teams also performed commendably, contributing to the success and competitive spirit of the event.
