THE SKIT
Our 2nd year Medical students performed a skit .The concept of a skit centered around World Hemophilia Day and highlighted its potential to spread awareness and inspire change.
By addressing and breaking stereotypes surrounding hemophilia becomes the central theme of this act. Characters confronted common myths and prejudices associated with the condition, such as the notion that people with hemophilia are fragile or incapable of leading fulfilling lives. Through powerful storytelling, the skit challenged these beliefs, emphasizing the strength and resilience of individuals with hemophilia.
The final act of the skit aims to uplift the audience's spirits by highlighting the progress made in hemophilia research, treatment, and support systems. The skit concludes with a call to action, encouraging the audience to support and contribute to the cause.
The event was well-attended by the hospital staff, patients, their families, and members of the local community. It provided a platform for open dialogue about hemophilia, and it helped to increase awareness and understanding of the condition. The hospital hopes to continue organizing events like this to support patients and their families.
