Rally and Inauguration- An Eventful Tuesday

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the literature secretary of GNMCH, we present a blog on an eventful Tuesday. The date:23.09.2025 Pharmacovigilance rally: The day started off with a rally conducted by our Dean Dr K Santha Arulmozhi ma’am  and MS sir, Dr R Gunasekaran, accompanied by the respected Pharmacology HOD, DR Saravanan sir, who led the rally until the faculty block. It was the week of Pharmacovigilance, where future doctors and nurses were taught the importance of medical drugs and their beneficial effects. Freshers Inauguration: The event was then followed by the arrival of the new juniors, which was a delightful sight. Suicide Prevention Day

Introduction: Hello all, and welcome to another blog by the Literature group of  GNMCH. Here, we are going to talk about Suicide Prevention Day, which was on 10th September 2025 The rally: The day started off with a rally, organised by the HOD of psychiatry department, DR Balasubramanian who was accompanied by our Medical Superintendent, DR  R Gunasekaran, on 12th September 2025. Medicos, nurses and doctors were made to proceed in a disciplined fashion from the hospital to the faculty block. It was then followed with a pledge to not aid in or commit any acts of suicide or self-harm. EYE DONATION FORTNIGHT CELEBRATION

 A Vision to Gift Sight Every year, Eye Donation Fortnight is celebrated in India from 25th August to 8th September with the mission of creating awareness about the importance of eye donation and reducing the burden of corneal blindness. This campaign is not just a program—it is a movement of hope, encouraging people to pledge their eyes and bring light into someone else’s life. This year’s Eye Donation Fortnight was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by OUR Respected  District Collector  Durga Moorthi Mam ,DEAN MAM   Dr. K. NGMCH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

 On August 15,1947, India was free; free from the exploitation by the British, free to accomplish whatever they desire , and free to think about their future. This day marks a turning point in the rich and diverse history of India, and the chain of events that alter the rest of the countries economic development. The beginning: In our college, the one and only NGMCH, we see the students, the professors and the doctors with their heads high, their hearts filled with pride and determination in their eyes . We started the event with hoisting the flag, which is of utter significance in today’s world, where everyone’s forgetting the importance of such events.
